What I'm Up To

Hi there! My name is Nicole McAbee, and I'm a junior English major at Belmont with minors in Italian and publishing. When I grow up (if ever), I want to be an editor. I actually want to write books for a living, but if you tell people that, they tend to get really worried about your future. I'm from Murfreesboro, TN, which is about 30 minutes from Belmont, and I lived in lots of different places before that. In my spare time, I like to write, listen to music, read (in theory), and go rock climbing.

I have two fat cats, and their names are Icy and Snowy. Snowy is the calico one with the white chest, and Icy is the greyish brown one who always looks nervous. I love all cats (as evinced by the Mewsic Kitty cat cafe shirt in my pic) and I'd have one in my dorm if I could. I'm also a big fan of succulents. One day, I think I'd also like to own a pet snake or a lizard.
